Destination Lighting
Searching for a new brand identity and presence, Destination Lighting hired me as a full time, in house copywriter to give their company a much needed facelift. Beginning with the foundation of company culture, I dove deeper into their values, mission statement, and user research to determine the best brand strategy moving forward.
Getting to the root
Like most copywriting work, I quickly discovered what the company actually needed was not only a copywriter, but a content strategist. I conducted employee surveys, worked with our UX expert to understand user need, and developed a marketing strategy to focus on strategic content goals.
The result
I developed a new brand story which highlights the company’s history and brand culture: https://www.destinationlighting.com/about/about-us.html
Implemented a new style guide which provided a new direction for the company tone and voice. (see below)
Created a new blog to create new, updated content (to target SEO) focused on commonly asked questions when it comes to lighting, and featured influencer content. https://www.destinationlighting.com/fliptheswitch/
Crafted a social media strategy to target a younger, more influential audience, and worked with influencers to promote the business.
